This is a culminating seminar emphasizing issues unique to transitioning to the role of the nurse practitioner into the acute care health care setting. This course is designed to analyze factors that have an impact on advanced nursing practice with emphasis on the scope of practice of the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, health care trends, and legislative and professional practice issues.
