This course focuses on the critical appraisal and synthesis of empirical evidence relevant to science in the area of chronic disorders. Theoretical foundations and mechanistic processes are the focus along with examination of issues in measurement, considerations for intervention development, analytics, and implications forclinical application.Emphasis will beplaced on the identification, critical review, analysis, and integration of physiological, psychological, and social responses to selected chronic disordersand their implications for the student’s own area of research
