NURNM 3504 - LABOR & BIRTH ROLE PRACTICUM Minimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 This practicum targets the nurse midwifery model of care in implementation of evidence-based practices and interventions that serve as the basis for the management of health conditions associated with family-centered pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum, and the neonatal period. The implementation of culturally sensitive and appropriate antepartal to postpartal to neonatal care drawn from diverse theoretical frameworks is also a primary focus of the course.
