NURNM 3511 - NORMAL CHILDBEARING FAMILY Minimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 This course targets evidence-based practices and interventions that serve as the basis for nurse midwife (NM) management of normal and common health conditions associated with pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum, and the neonatal period. Theories related to the woman’s experience of pregnancy, childbirth, and the taking-on of the maternal identity/role in context of family are also examined.
