NURSAN 3786 - BASIC PRINCIPLES OF ANESTHESIA Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course prepares the student for entry into the clinical practice setting by presenting fundamental concepts of general, regional, pain management, and sedation anesthesia. Airway management techniques, positioning, and an introduction to anesthetic pharmacology are emphasized. Anesthetic management strategies for patients with common diseases and perioperative problems are examined.
