NURSAN 2715 - ADVANCED PRACTICE INITIATIVES FOR THE CRNA Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Course focuses on the expansion of the knowledge base and refinement of practice skills of experienced CRNA’s. Stu dents identify an area of study in the field of nurse anesthesia in which they wish to improve knowledge and clinical expertise. Students develop and implement a comprehensive plan which includes establishing specific goals, developing a program of independent study, negotiation of a clinical practice site and completion of a defined clinical practicum. Objectives are met thru a learning contract, an oral and poster presentation and a written scholarly paper.
