LIS 2921 - FIELD EXPERIENCE Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course provides MLIS students practical, mentored experiences in library, archives, and information organizations, encouraging observation, engagement, and reflection. Activities on site are supplemented and situated in the library and information science field via instructor conferences and other assigned learning activities. Students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and have earned a QPA of at least 3.0 in the MLIS program to apply. Acceptance is determined through an application process. Approval must be obtained from the field experience faculty coordinator, academic advisor, and field work supervisor. Additional prerequisites may apply.
