Includes an overview of the standardization process and the standards organizations. Looks at network and data standards with significant attention to HTML, XML, HTTP, URL and other web technologies including APIS to programming with them. Topics covered include: Web and Restful protocols (HTTP, COAP), Publish-Subscribe protocols (MQTT), Web services (SOAP, etc.), and Web programming with CSS, JS, and HTML5.
