NUR 1675 - HEALTHCARE INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY IN SPAIN Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This three-credit industrial & clinical-focused study abroad opportunity is meant to engage and encourage cross-disciplinary learning among Nursing and Engineering undergraduate students at the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) in an international setting. This course reflects the importance of close collaboration among nurses and engineers in order to provide the best possible care for patients. The course is conducted through pre-departure lectures and discussion sessions and a required global experience with observation visits to local and multi-national healthcare providers, hospitals, labs and academic organizations, attending lectures, and visiting cultural sites.
