NUR 1055 - AGE-FRIENDLY HEALTH SYSTEMS 4MS CARE IN NURSING HOMES Minimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 This clinical course aims to improve quality of care according to the Age-Friendly Health Systems 4Ms framework for older adults in nursing homes. Students are placed into a nursing home to assess current care plan, identify gaps according to 4Ms care (i.e., what matters, medication, mobility, and mentation), develop comprehensive assessment and intervention plans, and identify barriers and facilitators to improve the 4Ms care. This course is available to students enrolled in Oakland, Johnstown, and Greensburg in the traditional BSN program.
