NUR 1155 - NURSING CARE OF ADULTS 1 Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course focuses on patient-centered nursing care of adults and older adults with acute and/or chronic illnesses. Students will be guided in clinical judgment exercises and the use of therapeutic interventions and research findings in the management of adults with acute and/or chronic illnesses. Nursing process, clinical judgment, and decision-making serve as the framework for acquisition of knowledge for the management of patients. Social determinants of health and interprofessional collaboration and teamwork will be emphasized.
