EPIDEM 2400 - PSYCHOSOCIAL FACTORS IN DISEASE Minimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course focuses on psychosocial and behavioral factors that influence the development and course of physical disease. Some of these factors can be modified, so identification can lead to improved health. This course is directed towards students who want to learn about the most common psychosocial factors implicated in disease, how they are measured, psychometric issues, and how to incorporate them into studies of disease and physical health. Students will also learn how to analyze and evaluate the strengths and limitations of studies that include psychosocial factors.
