NUTR 1006 - INTRO TO HUMAN NUTRITION Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will cover an overview of the scientific principles of nutrition and application of these principles to humans throughout the life cycle. Major focuses of the course are the classification and function of the six major nutrients, review of current nutrition standards, safety of the food supply, and nutrition misinformation.
