COUN 2749 - CLINICAL COUNSELING INTERNSHIP Minimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 6 Students participate in a minimum of 600 hours of counseling internship with at least 240 hours of direct clinical service. Students receive supervision from an assigned on-site clinical supervisor with requisite credentials, and clinical supervision from a faculty clinical mentor with the requisite credential and/or license. Internship students increase their awareness and understanding of the differences in values, beliefs, and behaviors of individuals from diverse populations. The internship reflects the comprehensive work experience of a clinical rehabilitation and mental health professional counselor. This course is the final preceptorship prior to the completion of the degree.
