PAS 2304 - PHARMACOLOGY 2 Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course continues the study of drugs and their interactions with and within living tissue to build the foundation of safe and effective prescribing. This course reinforces general drug classifications and pharmacological principles including mechanism of action, indications, dosing, pharmacodynamics, and therapeutic parameters, and patient education about commonly prescribed drugs. Topic areas covered include cardiology, genitourinary, musculoskeletal, rheumatology, neurology, and psychology. Each of these topics will be explored through lecture, class discussions, patient cases, and prescription writing exercises.
