INTBP 2000 - FOUNDTNS OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE Minimum Credits: 8 Maximum Credits: 8 Primary objectives of the course are to convey knowledge of the molecular and cellular mechanisms controlling cell, tis sue and organ function, and to develop an understanding of the experimental evidence supporting these concepts through an integrated presentation of material from biochemistry, cell biology, molecular genetics, pathology, pharmacology, and physiology. The development of critical thinking skills will be emphasized through an evaluation of experimental evidence and reading of the primary literature.
