ECE 2781 - SMART GRID TECHNOLOGIES AND APPLICATIONS Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This is a comprehensive course designed to introduce students to new technologies dedicated to reliably, efficiently and safely managing electric power across utility, commercial, industrial, and residential networks. The course will cover the application of smart grid technologies from power generation through power consumption including grid automation, smart meters, demand response, communication, electric vehicle integration, grid connectivity, renewable energy, cyber security, microgrids and the business processes.
