CSD 2456 - SPEECH PERCEPTION ACROSS THE LIFESPAN Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This seminar focuses on the development and potential decline of speech perception across the life span. The relationships between speech perception and audition, vision, speech production, cognitive function, language, and literacy will be explored for typically developing and aging populations. The implications of hearing loss and auditory therapies and technologies on speech perception will be explored, as well as common clinical tests of speech perception.
