SOC 0434 - POLITICAL SOCIOLOGY Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines the relationship between political institutions and the institutions of the economy, family, education, religion, and stratification. With a major focus on American society and the conditions underlying stable democracy, these relationships are studied in historical and cross-societal comparative perspective as well as in terms of a society’s location in the system of international relations.
