ENGCMP 0450 - RESEARCH WRITING Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course trains students in the techniques of responsible library research. Students will learn how to locate and utilize the resources of a library. Students will also learn how to take notes and document, use primary and secondary sources, and write paraphrases, summaries and abstracts. Each student will write a major research paper on a topic of his/her choice, one which may legitimately serve as a term paper for another course.
