ENGR 2051 - PRODUCT REALIZATION Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This interdisciplinary course considers diverse aspects of product realization process. Aspects, include defining user requirements, creation of computer based model and designs of a product from an existing product, rapid prototyping techniques and development of a manufacturing plan. Teams of 3-4 students from engineering and business will take a product with a microsystem or mems technology feature from concept to working prototype. In doing this students will address issues of market analysis, design, manufacturing design and product planning.
