IE 1123 - PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR ENGINEERS Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The focus of the course will be to understand professional project management in achieving strategic organizational objectives and mitigating risks. The process for obtaining professional project management (PMP) certification will be the foundation. The six domains of project management that will be addressed include: initiating the project planning the project, executing the project, monitoring and controlling the project, project transition and closure, professional and social responsibility.
