NUR 2011 - APPLIED STATISTICS FOR EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will provide students with the basis for understanding and interpreting commonly used statistical tests, as well as critically appraising their use in published research studies. Content will include descriptive and inferential statistics commonly reported in published research studies including both univariate and multivariate parametric and nonparametric tests. The course will also cover meta-analytic techniques and students will learn to calculate effect sizes.
