PSY 0184 - PSYCHOLOGY OF GENDER Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is intended to be an introduction to the theories and current research on the psychological nature of women and the psychology of gender roles. The male perspective on gender roles will also be included. The effects of cultural factors that determine both female and male roles in our society will be examined as well as how these roles affect different interpersonal relationships between women and men. The potential for change at both the societal and individual level will be discussed.
