ENGCMP 1101 - LANGUAGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course analyzes the rhetorical character of scientific writing and examines the role of writing and the use of language in the scientific process. The course permits students to assess professionally prepared texts as well as texts produced by other students, to write and re-write their own text and to develop a critical awareness of the resources of language employed in science and technology.
