OT 2107 - PSYCHOSOCIAL / COGNITIVE THEORY AND PRACTICE/MASTER OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY Minimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 The occupational therapy process for clients with psychosocial and/or cognitive dysfunction is studied in-depth. Theories, principles, assessments, and interventions focus on performance of activities and routines of daily living and participation in society. Enriches didactic coursework through experiential learning. Through directed observation and participation, students apply knowledge to practice and develop an understanding of the needs of clients with psychosocial and/or cognitive dysfunction and the skills needed for the analysis and adaptation of occupational performance deficits.
