MUSIC 2151 - INTRODUCTION TO JAZZ STUDIES Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This proseminar provides a critical review of writings on jazz, by analyzing and evaluating the development of the scholarly literature on jazz, focusing on the writings of some of the most influential critics and historians who have shaped the field.
