LING 2142 - THEORIES AND PRACTICES OF SECOND LANGUAGE TEACHING Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is intended to introduce current and prospective foreign and second language teachers to the various theories, approaches, issues, and practices employed in the teaching of English as a foreign or second language and, by extension, to other foreign language teaching as well. The course provides a broad overview of content in order to provide foundational knowledge of the field, and includes lectures, exams, and practical experience components.
