BIOENG 2725 - DESIGN FOR INJURY PREVENTION Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course provides instruction for how to design a workplace to prevent occupational injuries. The course will primarily focus on preventing the three types of injuries, the injury mechanism, risk factors, tools for quantifying risk and engineering solutions will be covered. Upon completion of a course, students will be expected to develop custom engineering design solutions to prevent occupational injuries. Students will complete a project where they will design a solution to eliminate or reduce an existing hazard.
