BIOSC 2278 - PHAGEHUNTING TEACHER WORKSHOPMinimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 This one week course is specifically designed to the needs of high school teachers to learn about and implement phage hunting in the classroom. The course includes instruction on the history of bacteriophages in science, the techniques of finding a phage, isolating and purifying a phage, extracting its DNA and manipulating it for sequencing.
