GEOL 2525 - STABLE ISOTOPE GEOCHEMISTRYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will provide students with a thorough introduction to the stable isotope systematics of light elements (hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur). The course examines the fundamental concepts of isotope equilibrium and kinetics, physiochemical and biogenic mechanisms of isotope exchange, and the principles of mass spectrome try and stable isotope extraction techniques.
