PSY 1210 - INTRODUCTION TO CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is directed toward the student seriously interested in the major issues pertaining to clinical psychology. The course provides an overview of the major therapeutic approaches and incorporates other germane issues such as history of the field, assessment issues, interviewing approaches, community psychology, behavioral medicine, and clinical research and methodology. Present therapeutic approaches are placed in the context of an evolving discipline, anchored in an empirical-scientific approach to the subject matter.
