NUR 1800 - COORDINATING CLINICAL TRIALSMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 The purpose of this course is to provide individuals with a basic understanding of clinical trials research conducted in accordance with federal regulations. Aspects of clinical trials research such as regulatory requirements, informed consent, pre and post study activities, audit procedures, and budgetary issues will be covered. This course will include presentations by individuals experienced in conducting trials; clinical research coordinators, IRB staff, investigational pharmacists, statisticians, and other experts in clinical research.
