HIST 1190 - MEDIEVAL GOVERNMENT AND SOCIETYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course deals with the emergence of the medieval state and its institutions, for example, systems of law (Roman, canon, and common law) and representative institutions. The course also focuses on certain aspects of intellectual life (for example, theories of kingship and constitutionalism) and forms of social, political, and economic organization (for example, feudalism and manorialism).
