HIST 1109 - FRANCE, SPAIN AND ITALY IN THE 20TH CENTURYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will compare three European countries, as a way of identifying the distinctive traits in each. We shall also hypothesize as to which of these traits are most likely to survive, and which even to thrive, in the Europe of the future. Although there are no prerequisites, students who can read a foreign language relevant to one of the three countries are particularly welcome.
