HIST 0755 - RELIGION IN ASIAMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course introduces students to Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Shinto, Confucianism, and Daoism. It focuses on two basic questions: What have been the key concerns of these traditions? How have they addressed those concerns? To answer these questions and to understand what people in Asian religions have said and done, we use primary sources, the textbook, and scholarly articles, and films.
