GER 1204 - GERMAN FOR SOCIAL SCIENTISTS 2Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course has a three-part teaching objective: 1) it analyzes historical development and institutional structures of the European union and asks the question to which extent this supranational union was able to engender a collective identity; 2) it allows students to practice their German language skills in all four areas: reading, writing, listening and speaking; 3) it teaches students how to write an analytic seminar paper in German.
