FILMST 1141 - ACTING FOR THE CAMERA: ADVANCED TECHNIQUESMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course explores some of the special problems and challenges facing television and motion picture actors. Designed for students who are serious about their artistic expression in front of the camera, the course concentrates on dramatic acting. It is a course for filmmakers as well as actors because the quality of an actor's performance is an essential of a film. Students learn to direct actors as well as to perform in front of the camera.
