ECON 0160 - INTRODUCTION TO ECONOMETRICSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Develop an understanding of basic econometrics. Teaches use of the computer for econometric and statistical analysis, and how to acquire information about published data on basic economic activity. Attempts to develop an understanding of the difficulties inherent in collecting and interpreting actual data. The heart of the course is the development of basic econometric skills. Learning about data sources and computer software will be included as the basic econometric theory is developed.
