CHIN 1087 - INTRODUCTION TO CHINESE NARRATIVEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The student is introduced to the major forms and important periods of Chinese narrative by reading and discussing a variety of Chinese narratives from the beginning of Chinese literature to the modern period. Texts include philosophical fables, historical records, mythical tales, stories of the supernatural, vernacular stories and novels.
