BIOSC 1906 - RESEARCH COMMUNICATION: COMMUNICATION IN LIFE SCIENCES RESEARCHMinimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 This course introduces students to a variety of topics associated with the written, oral, and pictorial communication of scientific hypotheses, data, and results, using personal research experiences of students in the course. Students will read scientific literature, discuss how to present data and models, and complete diverse assignments. Techniques to model presentations for different audiences will be emphasized. It is recommended that students work in a research lab while taking the course. The course is for students enrolled in the research certificate in biological and biomedical sciences.
