BIOENG 1320 - BIOLOGICAL SIGNALS AND SYSTEMSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The theory and application of linear time-invariant (LTI) systems is explored, with emphasis on an appreciation of the description and analysis of biomedical signals and systems via LTI methods. After completing the course, the student should be able to state the properties of LTI systems; be able to test whether a system is LTI; know how to obtain, and interpret, the frequency response, impulse response, step response, and transfer function of a system. The student should also be able to demonstrate mastery of the mathematical skills of convolution and integral transform techniques Academic Career: Undergraduate Course Component: Lecture Grade Component: Letter Grade Course Requirements: PREQ: BIOENG 1310 and MATH 0240 and MATH 0290; PLAN: Bioengineering (BSE or BEH)
