ANTH 1752 - ANTHROPOLOGY OF FOODMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course surveys the general subject of culinary anthropology. Topics include food exchanges and the construction of social groups, food and social boundaries, food taboos, symbolism of food, folk conceptions of food, sacrifice and food in religious contexts, world standardization of food preferences.
