This course explores different strategies for bringing about school improvement and classroom change. Students learn to consider the multiple factors that shape efforts to bring about change in schools, including school culture and cli mate, school and teacher capacity, and school-community relationships. Special attention is given to the school leader's role in building organizational capacity to change.
