PS 2511 - AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 For students who already have some knowledge of this subject who wish to broaden or deepen their understanding. The course deals with major issues of U.S. foreign policy mainly through readings and discussions. Topics such as domestic sources, trade deficits and protectionism, nuclear and conventional arms control, deficit spending and U.S. strategy, Soviet-American relations, China and its triangle, and vulnerable authoritarian regimes will be examined.
