SA 1420 - COLORMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines color theory and perception. Various formal color systems and theories are explored. A primary objective is to clarify the relationship between perception, color as light, and color as material, such as paints. Color harmonies, light and shadow, color-form relationships, and investigation of color in human environments and as found in nature are some of the topics involved in the class projects. This course provides an opportunity to explore color interaction in a variety of media and situations.
