ADMJ 1240 - FEMALE OFFENDER IN SOCIETYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Women are disproportionately uninvolved in crime in American society. While females account for half of the population, they account for less than 25% of those arrested for all crime. This pattern is stable across cultures and persistent over time. This course examines the reasons for these male/female differences and how they might be explained.
