HAA 1305 - EARLY RENAISSANCE ARCHITECTUREMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The early Renaissance (1420-1500) marked a fundamental change in the way mankind saw and thought about the world. This course examines the buildings, cities, projects, and theories of that period through its major designers. It concentrates on the new acceptance of rationality and modular linkage in building, which prefigures the rationality and scientific method so characteristic of the modern world.
