PHYS 1146 - NUCLR MAGNTC RESON BIOMDCL SCIMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course introduces students to new advances in the field of NMR in biomedical sciences. It covers the following topics: fundamentals of NMR; new techniques such as NMR imaging and in vivo spectroscopy as well as pulse techniques and NMR microscopy; and applications of NMR to investigate macromolecular structures, interactions, and dynamics as well as cellular structures and metabolism in selected regions of tissues and organs of living animals.
