NROSCI 1042 - NEUROCHEMICAL BASIS BEHAVIORMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will include didactic lectures on behavioral and neurochemical methodologies, neurotransmitter systems and intracellular signaling pathways, and how the function of these systems contributes to complex behaviors. The purpose of the course is to present students with a comprehensive synopsis of classical psychopharmacological and neurochemical approaches as well as recent molecular methods that can be used to study brain mechanisms in behaviorally relevant contexts.
